Opt for prepaid credit card and you won’t have to go for debt consolidation

Few months till now, Americans were having a tough time paying their credit card debt and a number of them were even opting for debt consolidation to clear of their debts but now the economy seems to be improving as major credit card lenders report that number of Americans are paying back their loans on time.

Consumer delinquency rates are used to measure payments which are at least thirty days late and give an indication of future loan losses for banks. Major financial institutions such as American Express, Bank of America and Capital One Financial have already witnessed a drop in their delinquency rates but the volume of credit card balances which banks charged off remained lofty across the board.

As a piece of advice, I would suggest to fellow Americans that rather than opting for normal credit card, a better option would be to go for prepaid credit card which ensures that you only spend within your limits and does not cause any sleepless nights to you.
